David Wilson

David’s approach to lending is based on working with his clients to determine the best financing structures and loan products in the context of their financial goals. David’s commitment to doing his absolute best with every loan transaction has created a broad referral base of former clients and professional referral partners. Whether clients are first time home buyers or seasoned investors, David’s depth of experience and communication skills truly add value to the transaction. As a former educator, David has the unique skill set to explain mortgage transaction information in simple terms that may have seemed intimidating or overwhelming at first glance. Throughout his career he has structured mortgage transactions for both residential and commercial real estate properties.

Upon graduation from California Polytechnic State University, David started his career as a local High School History and Economics teacher. After a successful teaching career, he was recruited into the mortgage industry in 2003 and brought with him the personal qualities of integrity, earnestness, and the authentic desire to help people that had initially led him into becoming a high school teacher and coach.

David holds both a California Real Estate Broker’s License, as well as a National Mortgage Originator License. He is involved with local non-profits and was a part of the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce, Leadership San Luis Obispo Class 24. David has also volunteered as a throwing coach for the San Luis High School Track and Field team and Mission College Prep for several years.
